केवल स्मरण से फल देने वाले, जिनका भक्त के हृदय में केवल स्मरण उस रूपान्तरण को शुरू करता है जिसे पूर्ण मुलाकात पूरी करती है

स्मृतिमात्रफलप्रद दत्तात्रेय को केवल स्मरण (स्मृति) से फल देने वाले नाम देता है। यह नाम उन भक्तों के लिए विशेष रूप से उत्साहजनक है जो महसूस करते हैं कि उनका अभ्यास अपर्याप्त है। भारत की 'नाम-स्मरण' परम्परा दिव्य नाम के निरन्तर स्मरण को एक सम्पूर्ण अभ्यास मानती है।
