ॐChant as the invocation of the goddess of the Gayatri Mantra itself. Bhūrbhuvaḥsvaḥsvarūpiṇī (706) names the three worlds as her form; Gāyatrī (707) names the metre-goddess herself. Together they identify the goddess as both the content and the form of the Gayatri Mantra's opening declaration.
