राग (attachment) दुख का मूल कारण है। 'मेरा phone', 'मेरी car', 'मेरा position', ये सब राग हैं। सर्ववीतराग हनुमान ने सभी सिद्धियाँ रखते हुए भी कभी किसी चीज़ से attachment नहीं रखी। Minimalism movement, Marie Kondo method, या decluttering practice, सब 'वीतराग' बनने के आधुनिक प्रयास हैं। जब कोई चीज़ छोड़नी हो, कपड़े donate करने हों, या old memories let go करनी हों, इस नाम का जप करें।
