निराकुलः

Free from all agitation and confusion, in whom there is no ākula (the mental state of being crowded, flustered, and confused by too many demands) , the perfectly unagitated divine ground

सभी उत्तेजना और भ्रम से मुक्त, जिनमें कोई आकुल (बहुत अधिक माँगों से भीड़-घबराहट और भ्रमित मानसिक अवस्था) नहीं है , वह परम अनुत्तेजित दिव्य आधार

निराकुल (सभी उत्तेजना से मुक्त) शिव को उस चेतना के रूप में नामित करता है जो आकुल से पूरी तरह मुक्त है , वह उत्तेजित, अभिभूत, भीड़ी मानसिक अवस्था। शिव निराकुल के रूप में अनंत लोकों के सृजन, पालन, विघटन जैसी सबसे जटिल ब्रह्माण्डीय गतिविधियाँ चलाते हैं बिना इस आकुल गुणवत्ता के किसी निशान के। भगवद्गीता की 'स्थितप्रज्ञ' की शिक्षा इसी निराकुल आधार की ओर संकेत करती है।
