अम्भोनिधिः

The cosmic ocean, the infinite reservoir of all waters and grace

ब्रह्माण्डीय महासागर, सम्पूर्ण जल और कृपा का अनन्त भण्डार

अम्भोनिधि = cosmic ocean। भगवान विष्णु क्षीरसागर (milky ocean) में शेषनाग पर शयन करते हैं। अम्भोनिधि भगवान स्वयं वो सागर हैं। भारत तीन सागरों (अरब सागर, बंगाल की खाड़ी, हिन्द महासागर) से घिरा है और कन्याकुमारी में तीनों मिलते हैं। समुद्र मन्थन इसी अम्भोनिधि (cosmic ocean) में हुआ। जब कोई समुद्र-तट पर खड़ा होकर अनन्त जल देखता है, वो अम्भोनिधि भगवान का दर्शन कर रहा है।
