The ultimate ender who brings dissolution to the entire cosmos at the appointed time

परम अन्तकर्ता, जो नियत समय पर सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड का प्रलय करते हैं

महोदधिशय (772, reclining in peace) → अन्तक (773, the ender): शान्ति से विनाश तक। भगवान योगनिद्रा में हैं (शान्त) लेकिन प्रलय-काल में 'अन्तक' (ender) बनते हैं। रुद्र-संहार (Rudra's destruction), कल्कि अवतार (Kalki's apocalypse), और प्रलय (cosmic dissolution) सब अन्तक की शक्ति हैं। गीता (11.32) में कृष्ण कहते हैं 'कालोऽस्मि लोकक्षयकृत्प्रवृद्धो,' मैं काल (समय/मृत्यु) हूँ, लोकों का संहार करने आया हूँ।
