संतोषी माता आरती -- जय सन्तोषी माता
A devotional aarti dedicated to Santoshi Mata, the Mother of contentment, worshipped especially through Friday vrata with guḍ-chana offering and prayers for peace, family harmony, fulfillment, and relief from sorrow.
संतोषी माता को समर्पित यह भक्तिपरक आरती संतोष की देवी का वंदन करती है, जिनकी पूजा विशेष रूप से शुक्रवार व्रत, गुड़-चना भोग, शांति, पारिवारिक सौहार्द, मनोकामना और दुख-निवारण के लिए की जाती है।
जय सन्तोषी माता, मैया जय सन्तोषी माता। अपने सेवक जन की, सुख सम्पति दाता॥
jaya santoṣī mātā, maiyā jaya santoṣī mātā. apane sevaka jana kī, sukha sampati dātā.
जय हो संतोषी माता की, हे मैया जय हो! आप अपने सेवक भक्तों को सुख और संपत्ति देने वाली हैं।
Glory to Mother Santoshi! O Mother, glory to Mother Santoshi! You are the giver of happiness and prosperity to your own devoted servants.
सुन्दर चीर सुनहरी, मां धारण कीन्हो। हीरा पन्ना दमके, तन श्रृंगार लीन्हो॥
sundara cīra sunaharī, māṃ dhāraṇa kīnho. hīrā pannā damake, tana śṛṅgāra līnho.
माता ने सुंदर सुनहरी चीर धारण की है; हीरे-पन्ने चमकते हुए उनके श्रृंगार में शोभा दे रहे हैं।
Mother wears a beautiful golden garment; diamonds and emeralds sparkle as she adorns her form.
गेरू लाल छटा छबि, बदन कमल सोहे। मंद हंसत करुणामयी, त्रिभुवन जन मोहे॥
gerū lāla chaṭā chabi, badana kamala sohe. manda haṃsata karuṇāmayī, tribhuvana jana mohe.
गेरू के समान लाल आभा में उनकी छवि है, कमल जैसा मुख सुशोभित है; मंद मुस्कान लिए करुणामयी माता तीनों लोकों के जनों को मोहित करती हैं।
With a radiant reddish glow, her lotus-like face shines; gently smiling and full of compassion, she enchants the people of all three worlds.
स्वर्ण सिंहासन बैठी, चंवर दुरे प्यारे। धूप, दीप, मधु, मेवा, भोज धरे न्यारे॥
svarṇa siṃhāsana baiṭhī, caṃvara ḍure pyāre. dhūpa, dīpa, madhu, mevā, bhoja dhare nyāre.
माता स्वर्ण सिंहासन पर विराजमान हैं, उनके समीप प्रिय चंवर डुलाए जाते हैं; धूप, दीप, मधु और मेवों का विशेष भोग सजाया जाता है।
Seated upon a golden throne, lovely fly-whisks wave beside her; incense, lamps, honey, and dried fruits are laid out as a special offering.
गुड़ अरु चना परम प्रिय, तामें संतोष कियो। संतोषी कहलाई, भक्तन वैभव दियो॥
guṛa aru canā parama priya, tāmeṃ santoṣa kiyo. santoṣī kahalāī, bhaktana vaibhava diyo.
गुड़ और चना उन्हें परम प्रिय हैं; इतने में ही संतुष्ट होकर वे संतोषी कहलाईं और भक्तों को वैभव प्रदान करती हैं।
Jaggery and gram are most dear to her; content with these simple offerings alone, she came to be called Santoshi, and grants prosperity to her devotees.
शुक्रवार प्रिय मानत, आज दिवस सोही। भक्त मंडली छाई, कथा सुनत मोही॥
śukravāra priya mānata, āja divasa sohī. bhakta maṇḍalī chāī, kathā sunata mohī.
माता को शुक्रवार का दिन प्रिय है; आज वही शुभ दिन है। भक्तों की मंडली एकत्रित हुई है और मैं मोहित होकर कथा सुन रहा हूँ।
Friday is her most beloved day; today is that very day. The assembly of devotees has gathered, and I sit enchanted, listening to her sacred story.
मंदिर जग मग ज्योति, मंगल ध्वनि छाई। विनय करें हम सेवक, चरनन सिर नाई॥
mandira jaga maga jyoti, maṅgala dhvani chāī. vinaya kareṃ hama sevaka, caranana sira nāī.
मंदिर जगमग ज्योति से भरा है, मंगल ध्वनि छाई हुई है। हम सेवक आपके चरणों में सिर नवाकर विनय करते हैं।
The temple glows with shimmering lamps, and auspicious sounds fill the air. We, your humble servants, bow our heads at your feet in prayer.
भक्ति भावमय पूजा, अंगीकृत कीजै। जो मन बसे हमारे, इच्छित फल दीजै॥
bhakti bhāvamaya pūjā, aṅgīkṛta kījai. jo mana base hamāre, icchita phala dījai.
भक्तिभाव से भरी इस पूजा को स्वीकार कीजिए। हमारे मन में जो इच्छा बसी है, उसका फल प्रदान कीजिए।
Accept this worship, filled with devotion. Grant us the fruit of whatever wish resides in our heart.
दुखी दारिद्री रोगी, संकट मुक्त किए। बहु धन धान्य भरे घर, सुख सौभाग्य दिए॥
dukhī dāridrī rogī, saṃkaṭa mukta kie. bahu dhana dhānya bhare ghara, sukha saubhāgya die.
दुखी, दरिद्र और रोगी जनों को आपने संकट से मुक्त किया है; घरों को धन-धान्य से भरकर सुख-सौभाग्य प्रदान किया है।
You free the sorrowful, the poor, and the sick from hardship; you fill homes with abundant wealth and grain, and bestow happiness and good fortune.
ध्यान धरे जो तेरा, वांछित फल पायो। पूजा कथा श्रवण कर, घर आनन्द आयो॥
dhyāna dhare jo terā, vāñchita phala pāyo. pūjā kathā śravaṇa kara, ghara ānanda āyo.
जो आपका ध्यान धरता है, वह वांछित फल पाता है; पूजा और कथा श्रवण से घर में आनंद आया है।
Whoever meditates upon you receives the fruit of their wish; through worship and listening to your sacred story, joy has entered our home.
चरण गहे की लज्जा, रखियो जगदम्बे। संकट तू ही निवारे, दयामयी अम्बे॥
caraṇa gahe kī lajjā, rakhiyo jagadambe. saṃkaṭa tū hī nivāre, dayāmayī ambe.
हे जगदम्बे, आपके चरण पकड़ने की लाज रखिए; हे दयामयी अम्बे, संकट का निवारण आप ही करती हैं।
O Mother of the universe, preserve the honor of those who cling to your feet. You alone remove all hardship, O compassionate Mother.
सन्तोषी माता की आरती, जो कोई जन गावे। रिद्धि सिद्धि सुख सम्पति, जी भर के पावे॥ जय सन्तोषी माता, मैया जय सन्तोषी माता। अपने सेवक जन की, सुख सम्पति दाता॥
santoṣī mātā kī āratī, jo koī jana gāve. riddhi siddhi sukha sampati, jī bhara ke pāve. jaya santoṣī mātā, maiyā jaya santoṣī mātā. apane sevaka jana kī, sukha sampati dātā.
जो कोई संतोषी माता की यह आरती गाता है, वह रिद्धि-सिद्धि, सुख और संपत्ति भरपूर पाता है। जय हो संतोषी माता की, जो अपने सेवक भक्तों को सुख-संपत्ति देने वाली हैं।
Whoever sings this aarti of Mother Santoshi receives prosperity, spiritual attainment, happiness, and wealth to their heart's content. Glory to Mother Santoshi, giver of happiness and prosperity to her devoted servants.
