शब्दब्रह्म वैदिक परम्परा की सबसे प्राचीन ध्वनि-धर्मशास्त्र है। ऋग्वेद का वाक् सूक्त पवित्र वाणी की देवी को सभी दिव्य और मानवीय ज्ञान के स्रोत के रूप में वर्णित करता है। जब सहस्रनाम के हजार नाम सच्चाई से जपे जाते हैं, शब्दब्रह्म मानव स्वर के माध्यम से स्वयं बोल रहे हैं।
