वन्द्यः

He who is worthy of salutation, whose divine presence calls forth the gesture of reverential bowing from every sincere heart that encounters it

वन्द्य, जो नमन के योग्य है, जिनकी दिव्य उपस्थिति हर उस सच्चे हृदय से श्रद्धापूर्ण प्रणाम का भाव उत्पन्न करती है जो उससे मिलता है

वन्द्य उस गुणवत्ता का सम्मान करता है जो नमन को स्वाभाविक और अपरिहार्य बनाती है। जो भक्त गर्भगृह पर पहुँचता है और मूर्ति देखने से पहले स्वतः झुक जाता है वह वन्द्य का जवाब दे रहा है।
