क्रोधिनी - जिनका भयंकर क्रोध व्यक्तिगत नहीं बल्कि ब्रह्माण्डीय है, वह धार्मिक क्रोध जो धर्म के उल्लंघन पर उठता है और उसे ठीक करने की माँग करता है

भारतीय आध्यात्मिक संस्कृति कभी-कभी निष्क्रिय स्वीकृति को इतना महत्त्व देती है कि धार्मिक क्रोध - जिस माता-पिता का बच्चा दुर्व्यवहार झेल रहा है, जो नागरिक देख रहा है कि भ्रष्टाचार सार्वजनिक संस्थाओं को नष्ट कर रहा है - को 'अयोगिक' के रूप में दबा दिया जाता है। क्रोधिनी सुधार करती हैं: वे परम्परा को याद दिलाती हैं कि देवता स्वयं अन्याय पर क्रोधित होकर देवी के पास आए। सभी क्रोध अहंकार नहीं। कुछ क्रोध धर्म है।
