रमण महर्षि की आत्म-विचार शिक्षा - 'मैं कौन हूँ?' की प्रत्यक्ष जाँच - आधुनिक युग में आत्मविद्या का सम्भवतः सबसे मूलभूत और सुव्यवस्थित रूप है। तिरुवण्णामलाई आश्रम एक सदी से अधिक समय से हर देश के साधकों को आकर्षित करता रहा है। प्रश्नकर्ता और प्रश्न का विषय एक ही है।

ॐChant before the practice of self-inquiry (atma vichara) and in Vedanta study. Ātmavidyā is the most direct path to the goddess, because she is the self that is being sought - the inquiry into the seeker leads to the one who is sought. All other vidyas are preparatory; this is the final vidya.
