परम आत्मस्वरूपा - जो परमात्मन हैं, वह सार्वभौमिक, अनन्त चेतना जो बिना किसी अपवाद के प्रत्येक प्राणी का अन्तरतम स्वयं है

यह शिक्षा कि परमात्मन किसी दूरस्थ स्वर्ग में नहीं बल्कि साधारण मनुष्य की अन्तरतम वास्तविकता है, भारतीय दर्शन में सबसे अधिक लोकतान्त्रिक विचार है। यह कहती है कि जन्म, शिक्षा या स्थिति की परवाह किए बिना प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के केन्द्र में परम है। कबीर के दोहों से तुकाराम के अभंगों से रमण के मौन तक - सब अलग-अलग भाषाओं में परमात्मिका का जाप कर रहे थे।

Paramātmikā is the name that collapses the distance between devotee and deity - the one being worshipped and the one worshipping are ultimately the same. The devotee who realises this does not stop worshipping; they worship with new understanding.
