ज्ञान (जानकारी), विद्या (सीखना) और प्रज्ञा (बुद्धि) के बीच अन्तर करने की भारतीय परम्परा ज्ञानमीमांसा में उसके सबसे महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदानों में से एक है। वह डेटा वैज्ञानिक जिसके पास सब जानकारी है लेकिन गलत निर्णय लेता है, वह अनुभवी डॉक्टर जिसकी नैदानिक अन्तर्दृष्टि वह पकड़ती है जो परीक्षण चूक गए - हर मामले में अन्तर प्रज्ञा है।
