अपर्णा उस आध्यात्मिक साधक का आदर्श है जो सब कुछ देता है। भारत भर के महान त्यागियों की कथाएँ - जिन्होंने सांसारिक सुख का त्याग इसलिए नहीं किया कि वह बुरा है बल्कि इसलिए कि दिव्य के प्रति उनका प्रेम आराम की इच्छा से अधिक शक्तिशाली है - सभी अपर्णा के गुण को वहन करती हैं।
