महाश्रया

परम आश्रय - जो परम शरण हैं, अनेक आश्रयों में एक नहीं बल्कि सभी आश्रयों के पीछे का आश्रय, हर शरण स्थान के नीचे की आधारभूमि, वह अन्तिम संसाधन जब बाकी सब विफल हो जाए

एक ऐसी दुनिया में जो कई प्रकार की शरण प्रदान करती है - संस्थाएँ, सम्बन्ध, दर्शन, अभ्यास - महाश्रया वह नामित करती है जो इन सभी के समाप्त या विफल होने पर शेष रहती है। जो शरणार्थी देश, परिवार और आजीविका खो चुका है - सभी महाश्रया के क्षेत्र के पास हैं।

ॐChant when all other resources are exhausted and only the goddess herself remains. Mahāśrayā is the name behind all refuge-names - Sarvāśrayā, Hṛdayasthā, Bhaktavatsalā - she is the supreme refuge that makes all lesser shelters possible.
