भारत भर में प्राचीन स्थलों पर स्वयम्भू गणेश मन्दिर, जिनमें नेपाल का स्वयम्भूनाथ भी शामिल है, ऐसे स्थान हैं जहाँ गणेश बिना मानव-निर्माण के स्वयं प्रकट हुए, जिससे ऐसे स्थलों की तीर्थयात्रा विशेष पवित्र हो जाती है।
