निरातङ्कः

The one completely free from fear; the deity in whom there is not the slightest trace of āṭaṃka, the deep anxiety that haunts beings who have not yet recognised their own deathless nature

भय से पूर्णतः मुक्त; वह देव जिनमें आतंक का तनिक भी लेश नहीं है, वह गहरी चिन्ता जो उन प्राणियों को सताती है जिन्होंने अभी तक अपनी शाश्वत प्रकृति को नहीं पहचाना है

संघर्ष क्षेत्रों, अस्पतालों और आपदा राहत स्थानों में भारत के अग्रिम पंक्ति के कार्यकर्ता जो नियमित रूप से भय-उत्पन्न करने वाली परिस्थितियों का सामना करते हैं, देव की निर्भयता पर आकर्षित करने के लिए इस नाम का जाप करते हैं न कि केवल व्यक्तिगत साहस पर निर्भर रहते हुए।
