सांसारिक आसक्ति के राग (passion) को मथकर नष्ट करने वाली

मथन = churning। समुद्र मन्थन में poison (हालाहल) और nectar (अमृत) दोनों निकले। जब देवी राग (attachment) को मथती हैं, poison (दुःख) निकलता है और amrit (शान्ति) बचता है। Detox = modern churning। जब toxic relationships, habits, या addictions 'churn' हों और निकलें, वह painful है लेकिन healing।
