मेरु पर्वत — हिन्दू cosmology में ब्रह्मांड का केन्द्र। Rudraksha mala में भी एक 'Meru' bead होती है जो counting boundary है — ऊँगली उससे पार नहीं जाती। ISRO का Mars Orbiter Mission जब Mars की orbit में पहुँचा, तो कुछ लोगों ने कहा 'Meru mil गया!' Spinal column जो शरीर की axis है — yoga में उसे Meru Danda कहते हैं। Kundalini जो base से crown तक चढ़ती है — वो Meru Danda पर ही चलती है।
