'पण' शब्द 'व्यापार' (transaction/commerce) से जुड़ा है। भारत में 'पणिक' (merchant) और 'आपण' (shop, जैसे 'भाण्डार') इसी से बने हैं। पण भगवान कर्म-फल का 'लेन-देन' (transaction) करते हैं: अच्छा कर्म करो, अच्छा फल पाओ। यह ब्रह्माण्ड का सबसे बड़ा 'व्यापार' (commerce) है। UPI और डिजिटल पेमेंट भौतिक 'पण' (transaction) हैं, लेकिन भगवान का कर्म-पण (karma-transaction) अदृश्य और अचूक है।
