वायु सूक्तम्
Vayu Suktam -- a Vedic hymn to Vayu, the wind god and lord of the life-breath (prana). Chanted for vitality, pranic energy, health of the breath, and swiftness of strength.
वायु सूक्तम् -- पवन-देव और प्राण के स्वामी वायु को समर्पित वैदिक सूक्त। ओज, प्राण-ऊर्जा, श्वास-आरोग्य और बल की तीव्रता के लिए पढ़ा जाता है।
वायवा याहि दर्शतेमे सोमा अरंकृताः। तेषां पाहि श्रुधी हवम्॥१॥
vāyavā yāhi darśateme somā araṃkṛtāḥ | teṣāṃ pāhi śrudhī havam ||1||
हे वायु, शोभा सहित पधारें; ये सोम अर्पण सज्ज हैं। इन्हें ग्रहण करें और हमारा आह्वान सुनें।
O Vayu, come in beauty; these Soma offerings are prepared. Drink of them and hear our invocation.
वाय उक्थेभिर्जरन्ते त्वामच्छा जरितारः। सुतसोमा अहर्विदः॥२॥
vāya ukthebhirjarante tvāmacchā jaritāraḥ | sutasomā aharvidaḥ ||2||
हे वायु, स्तोता स्तुतियों के साथ आपकी ओर आते हैं; उन्होंने सोम तैयार किया है और वे उचित काल को जानते हैं।
O Vayu, singers approach You with hymns, having pressed Soma and knowing the right sacred time.
वायो तव प्रपृञ्चती धेना जिगाति दाशुषे। उरूची सोमपीतये॥३॥
vāyo tava prapṛñcatī dhenā jigāti dāśuṣe | urūcī somapītaye ||3||
हे वायु, आपकी पोषक धारा यजमान के पास आती है, विस्तृत और समृद्ध, सोमपान के लिए।
O Vayu, Your nourishing stream comes to the giver, broad and abundant, for the drinking of Soma.
इन्द्रवायू इमे सुता उप प्रयोभिरा गतम्। इन्दवो वामुशन्ति हि॥४॥
indravāyū ime sutā upa prayobhirā gatam | indavo vāmuśanti hi ||4||
हे इन्द्र और वायु, ये सोम रस प्रसन्नताओं सहित तैयार हैं। समीप आएँ, क्योंकि सोम बूँदें आप दोनों को चाहती हैं।
O Indra and Vayu, these pressed Soma offerings are ready with delights. Come near, for the Soma drops long for you both.
वायविन्द्रश्च चेतथः सुतानां वाजिनीवसू। तावा यातमुप द्रवत्॥५॥
vāyavindraśca cetathaḥ sutānāṃ vājinīvasū | tāvā yātamupa dravat ||5||
हे वायु और इन्द्र, आप दोनों अपार बल के स्वामी, सोम अर्पणों पर ध्यान देते हैं। शीघ्र हमारे समीप आएँ।
O Vayu and Indra, you both attend to the pressed offerings, possessors of abundant strength. Hasten quickly to us.
वायविन्द्रश्च सुन्वत आ यातमुप निष्कृतम्। मक्ष्वित्था धिया नरा॥६॥
vāyavindraśca sunvata ā yātamupa niṣkṛtam | makṣvitthā dhiyā narā ||6||
हे वायु और इन्द्र, सोम तैयार करने वाले के नियत स्थान पर पधारें। हे नायकगण, इस प्रकार सद्बुद्धि सहित शीघ्र आएँ।
O Vayu and Indra, come to the appointed place of the one who presses Soma. Come swiftly, O leaders, in this way, with insight.
