Etymology · व्युत्पत्ति
From Sanskrit 'dharma' (धर्म) + 'sthāpana' (स्थापना, establishment, restoration, the act of setting something upright again — from root 'sthā,' to stand) + 'kārī' (कारी, doer, performer) — He who performs the establishment of dharma. The closing name of the dharma theme, drawn directly from the Gita's most famous promise: 'dharma-saṃsthāpanārthāya sambhavāmi yuge yuge' — for the establishment of dharma, I manifest age after age.
अर्थ
यह वह नाम है जिसमें पूरी धर्म थीम एक शब्द में। स्थापना का अर्थ 'सृजन' नहीं। 'खड़ा करना' — जैसे गिरे स्तम्भ को वापस आधार पर रखो, झुकी बाड़ सीधी करो, ढहे मंदिर को नया बनाकर नहीं, मूल पत्थर वापस जगह रखकर बहाल करो। धर्मस्थापनाकारी नया धर्म नहीं गढ़ते। जो हमेशा था उसे बहाल करते। क्योंकि धर्म क्षीण नहीं होता — दबता है। भ्रष्टाचार तले, सुविधा तले, 'सब करते हैं तो ठीक ही होगा' की धीमी बहाव तले। बहाली क्रांति नहीं। पुरातत्व — समझौते की परतें खोदकर मूल नींव तक पहुँचना, और फिर खड़ा करना। इस थीम का हर नाम उस बहाली का औज़ार: इमारत का सरिया, स्पष्ट दृष्टि का चक्र, घोषणा का शंख, उपस्थिति की गदा, जानने और करने का पुल, सत्य का व्रत, मूर्तिमान तराज़ू, कीचड़ भरे पैरों वाला नेता, परजीवी का शत्रु, विलंब का नाशक, जवाबदेही का गुरुत्व। बारहों धर्मस्थापनाकारी का toolkit। धर्म की रक्षा तिजोरी में सुरक्षित रखकर नहीं। ढही संरचना में चलकर पत्थर एक-एक कर खड़े करके, मिट्टी में, अपने हाथों से।
कथा · From tradition
भगवद्गीता (अध्याय 4, श्लोक 8) इस नाम का मूल-ग्रंथ: 'परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम्, धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे।' यह श्लोक इस श्रृंखला में पहले आ चुका — अवतार थीम में, पालनकर्ता में। पर धर्म थीम में अलग उतरता है। कृष्ण तीन उद्देश्य विशिष्ट क्रम में: पहला, सज्जनों की रक्षा। दूसरा, दुष्टों का विनाश। तीसरा — अंतिम, चरम उद्देश्य — धर्म की स्थापना। रक्षा नहीं। स्थापना। स्थापना का तात्पर्य धर्म गिरा है और खड़ा करना है। बनाए नहीं रखा जा रहा — पुनर्निर्माण। हर युग वही काम। हर काल वही ढहना और बहाली। यह ईश्वर नहीं जो पूर्ण व्यवस्था सँभाले। वह जो ऐसी व्यवस्था बार-बार बनाता जो बार-बार गिरती — इसलिए नहीं कि व्यवस्था दोषपूर्ण, बल्कि भीतर के प्राणी गिराते रहते, और वह फिर खड़ी करने लौटता रहता। गीता का वादा 'मैं धर्म खड़ा रखूँगा' नहीं। 'तुम गिराओगे तो फिर खड़ा करता रहूँगा।' वह दृढ़ता — पूर्णता नहीं, शाश्वत बहाली — धर्म को मिली सबसे गहरी सुरक्षा है।

तमिलनाडु के छोटे शहर में municipal corporator — कुम्भकोणम कहो। 340 वोटों से जीते। Ward में खुले नाले, तीन working streetlight, लीक छत वाला community hall, मंदिर जिसकी देखभाल नहीं हुई जब से पिछले corporator ने trust fund wedding hall में लगाया जो किसी ने नहीं माँगा। Budget ऐसा कि Bangalore का startup founder हँसे। पर startup founder के पास जो नहीं वह तुम्हारे पास: ज़मीन का एक बहुत specific टुकड़ा जो खड़ा करना तुम्हारा है। शुरू करते हो। मंदिर से नहीं — वह politics। नाले से। एक नाला। Bazaar Street में 200 मीटर जहाँ हर जुलाई मॉनसून का पानी सीवेज से मिलता और स्कूली बच्चे गुज़रते क्योंकि दूसरा रास्ता बीस मिनट बढ़ाता। ढकवाते हो। Concrete slabs, आधा ward budget, आधा मस्जिद committee का दान क्योंकि नाला मस्जिद के सामने भी। चार महीने। कोई नहीं लिखता। Bazaar Street कोई journalist नहीं आता। BJP और DMK दोनों local WhatsApp group पर credit लेते — मतलब काम किसी ने नहीं किया। पर जुलाई में बच्चे सूखे चलते। यही धर्मस्थापनाकारी — तीनों लोकों में धर्म की ब्रह्मांडीय स्थापना नहीं। बहुत specific, बहुत local, बहुत कीचड़ भरा कर्म — एक शहर की एक गली में एक नाला ढकना ताकि सैंतीस बच्चे जुलाई में सीवेज में न चलें। पत्थर छोटे। हाथ गंदे। धर्म खड़ा।

Look at your immediate surroundings — your room, your street, your office, your family. Find one thing that has fallen and needs to be set upright. Not a cosmic thing. A specific thing. A habit you dropped. A relationship you neglected. A standard that slipped. A drain that is not covered. Close your eyes and see it clearly — the fallen stone, the specific piece of ground that is yours to restore. Now imagine picking it up with your hands — not delegating, not planning, not posting about it — picking it up. Feel the weight. Feel the dirt. Feel the specific, unglamorous, uncredited reality of restoration. That is Dharmasthapanakari. One stone. Your hands. This ground. Stay for 5 minutes. Then go pick it up.
Mantra Practice · मंत्र जप
Chant 108 times at the beginning of any restoration project — not creation, restoration. Fixing a relationship, not starting a new one. Rebuilding a habit, not inventing one. Cleaning a space, not designing one. Use a tulsi mala. Voice steady and workmanlike, the voice of someone who has done this before and will do it again because the stones keep falling and someone has to keep standing them up. Best performed on any morning where the work ahead is unglamorous but specific.
