Etymology · व्युत्पत्ति
From 'dharma' (धर्म, cosmic order — from 'dhṛ', to sustain) + 'saṃsthāpaka' (संस्थापक, restorer) — Restorer of Dharma. Gita 4.7-8: 'Whenever dharma declines, I manifest. To protect the righteous, destroy the wicked, re-establish dharma — I come, age after age.'
अर्थ
गीता का वादा बुराई रोकने का नहीं। Tipping point पर सुधार — कभी युद्ध, कभी शांत क्रांति। धर्मसंस्थापक perfect दुनिया नहीं रखता — टूटी बहाल करता। स्वस्थ धर्म को भगवान नहीं चाहिए। जब भ्रष्टाचार norm बने — अधर्म परंपरा का भेस, अन्याय ख़ुद को व्यवस्था कहे — तब अवतार। शिक्षा: दुनिया टूटेगी। टूटना और बहाली — यही योजना। Advance team साधारण व्यक्ति जो अपूर्ण लड़ाई लड़ने को तैयार।

भगवद्गीता (अध्याय 4, श्लोक 7-8) — अवतार वादा। 'जब-जब धर्म की हानि, अधर्म की वृद्धि, तब-तब प्रकट होता हूँ। सज्जनों की रक्षा, दुष्टों के विनाश, धर्म स्थापना — हर युग।' Trigger: पहले धर्म गिरे। अवतार गिरने के बाद टुकड़े उठाने। व्यवस्था टूटने के लिए बनी। सुधार पीछे। टूटते वक़्त लड़ने वाले — whistleblowers, resisters — अवतार की advance team।
