सर्वदेवपूजितः

He who is worshipped by all the gods, whose divine sovereignty is acknowledged through the most formal act of worship even by the highest celestial beings

जिनकी सभी देवता पूजा करते हैं, जिनकी दिव्य सार्वभौमिकता उच्चतम स्वर्गीय सत्ताओं द्वारा भी पूजा के सबसे औपचारिक कार्य के माध्यम से स्वीकार की जाती है

सर्वदेवपूजित उस औपचारिक पूजा का सम्मान करता है जो सभी देवता अर्पित करते हैं। अय्यप्पा की पौराणिक जन्म कथा सर्वदेवपूजित की सबसे पूर्ण अभिव्यक्ति है।
