इच्छाशक्त्यात्मकः

जिनकी आत्मा इच्छाशक्ति है, जिनमें दिव्य इच्छा-शक्ति बिना सीमा के सभी अस्तित्व के पीछे सृजनात्मक संकल्प के रूप में काम करती है

इच्छाशक्त्यात्मक दत्तात्रेय को वह नाम देता है जिनकी आत्मा इच्छाशक्ति है। कश्मीर शैवमत की तीन शक्तियों की त्रयी में तीन प्राथमिक शक्तियाँ हैं: इच्छाशक्ति, ज्ञानशक्ति और क्रियाशक्ति। दत्तात्रेय इच्छाशक्त्यात्मक के रूप में पहली और सबसे आदिम को मूर्त रूप देते हैं।
