तृप्ति के दाता, जो उस गहरे सन्तोष को प्रदान करते हैं जो आत्मा की अपनी परिपूर्णता की पहचान से उठता है

तृप्तिद दत्तात्रेय को तृप्ति (सन्तोष, तृप्ति) के दाता नाम देता है। 'तृप्ति' पूर्णता के बाद की पूर्ण सन्तुष्टि की अवस्था है। तृप्तिद के रूप में दत्तात्रेय वह तृप्ति देते हैं जो जो चाहा था उसे पाने से नहीं बल्कि यह पहचानने से उठती है कि स्वभाव पहले से ही पूर्ण है।
