निर्गुणा

She who is beyond all qualities; the goddess who transcends every attribute, every description, every guṇa - she who is not characterised by any quality because she is the source from which all qualities arise

ॐThe 300th name - the tenth major milestone in this sahasranama. Nirguṇā at 300 is the most paradoxical name in the entire sequence: the goddess described by three hundred names is simultaneously she who is beyond all description. All the attributes, all the forms, all the weapons, all the philosophical concepts - they have all been pointing at the one who has none of these as her ultimate nature. The names fall silent before Nirguṇā.
