सत्य के प्रति प्रतिज्ञाबद्ध - जिनका अस्तित्व के साथ अनुबन्ध स्वयं सत्य है, जिनका हर उद्गार, हर कार्य और उनकी प्रकृति का हर पहलू जो वास्तविक है उसके प्रति पूर्ण निष्ठा में है

देवता के सामने शपथ लेने की परम्परा - अदालतों में, ऐतिहासिक संस्कारों में, राजनीतिक उद्घाटनों में - सत्यसन्धा का क्षेत्र है। जब भारत के नागरिक सार्वजनिक पद ग्रहण करने से पहले शपथ लेते हैं, सभी उस देवी का आह्वान कर रहे हैं जो सत्य के प्रति प्रतिज्ञाबद्ध हैं।
