देवासुरनमस्कृता

She who is bowed to by both gods and demons; the goddess whose sovereignty is so complete that even those who oppose the divine order must ultimately bow - the universal acknowledgement that transcends the god-demon polarity

देवों और असुरों दोनों द्वारा नमस्कृत - जिनकी सर्वोच्चता इतनी पूर्ण है कि यहाँ तक कि जो दैवीय व्यवस्था का विरोध करते हैं वे भी अन्ततः झुकते हैं

यह पहचान कि दैवीय का विरोध पर भी सर्वोच्चता है - कि जो धर्म का विरोध करते हैं वे भी देवी द्वारा शासित ब्रह्माण्ड में काम कर रहे हैं - भारतीय दर्शन की सबसे कट्टरपन्थी राजनीतिक शिक्षाओं में से एक है।

ॐChant when recognising the goddess's authority that transcends all polarities. This name closely echoes Surāsuranmaskṛtā (289) but uses the fuller compound 'devāsura' - gods and demons together. Both names say the same thing: her sovereignty is acknowledged universally, including by those who would prefer otherwise.
