विश्वम्भरा

She who bears the universe; the goddess who carries all of existence within her being - the world is not separate from her but borne within her, as a pregnant mother bears her child

विश्वम्भरा - जो ब्रह्माण्ड को धारण करती हैं, जो समस्त अस्तित्व को अपने होने में समेटती हैं, संसार उनसे अलग नहीं बल्कि उनके भीतर धारित है, जैसे एक गर्भवती माँ अपने बच्चे को वहन करती है

यह ब्रह्माण्डविज्ञान अन्तर्दृष्टि कि ब्रह्माण्ड स्वतन्त्र रूप से अस्तित्व में नहीं है बल्कि हमेशा किसी बड़ी वास्तविकता के 'भीतर' है, विश्वम्भरा का नाम है। आधुनिक भौतिकी इसे क्वाण्टम वैक्यूम के माध्यम से समझती है।

The Viśvadhātrī (nurse of the world) and Viśvambharā (bearer of the world) pair names two modes of the goddess's care: nursing implies sustaining what is separate; bearing implies carrying within. Viśvambharā is more intimate - the world is not outside her but within.
