भारत और विश्वव्यापी भारतीय प्रवासी समुदाय में योग-स्टूडियो और शिक्षक अपनी कक्षाओं की शुरुआत गणेश आवाहन से करते हैं, इस नाम का जाप करते हुए सम्पूर्ण अभ्यास को केवल शारीरिक व्यायाम नहीं बल्कि मिलन की यात्रा के रूप में पवित्र करते हैं।
