सिद्धिविनायक और दगडूशेठ जैसे प्रसिद्ध गणेश मन्दिरों में शानदार अभिषेक समारोह, जहाँ देव को सैकड़ों लीटर दूध और शहद में स्नान कराया जाता है, इस नाम को पूर्णतः मूर्त करते हैं: अमृत की वर्षा।
