शुभ, श्रेष्ठ और सच्ची अच्छाई से प्रेम करने वाली

भद्र = genuinely good। देवी भद्रता (goodness) से प्रसन्न होती हैं। जब कोई बिना स्वार्थ के अच्छा काम करे, जब बच्चा spontaneously दूसरे बच्चे को खिलौना दे, जब अजनबी को रास्ता दिखाएँ बिना माँगे, वह भद्र कर्म है। देवी ऐसे छोटे-छोटे अच्छे कामों से प्रसन्न होती हैं। Grand gestures ज़रूरी नहीं, भद्रता काफ़ी।
