The eternally unborn, existing without origin or creation

अजन्मा, जो बिना किसी उत्पत्ति के शाश्वत हैं

अज तीसरी बार आया है (पहले नाम 95 और 231)। सत्य (truth) के बाद अज (unborn) और अमेयात्मा (immeasurable Self) तीन बार दोहराए गए नाम हैं। तीन मूल सत्य: भगवान सत्य हैं, अजन्मा हैं, और अपरिमेय हैं। ये तीनों मिलकर विष्णु का सबसे गहन दार्शनिक परिचय देते हैं। गीता (2.20) कहती है 'न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचित्,' वो न कभी जन्मते हैं न मरते हैं।
