Saraswati Ashtakam

yā kundendutुṣārahāradhavalā yā śubhravstrāvṛtā yā vīṇāvaradaṇḍamaṇḍitakarā yā śvetapadmāsanā| yā brahmācyutaśaṃkaraprabhṛtibhirdevaiḥ sadā vanditā sā māṃ pātu sarasvatī bhagavatī niḥśeṣajāḍyāpahā ||1||

śuklāṃ brahmavcārasāraparamāmādyāṃ jagadvyāpinīṃ vīṇāpustakadhāriṇīmabhayadāṃ jāḍyāndhakārāpahām| haste sphāṭikamālikāṃ vidadhatīṃ padmāsane saṃsthitāṃ vande tāṃ parameśvarīṃ bhagavatīṃ buddhipradāṃ śāradām ||2||

sarasvati namastubhyaṃ varade kāmarūpiṇi| vidyārambhaṃ kariṣyāmi siddhirbhavatu me sadā ||3||

bhadrakālyai namo nityaṃ sarasvatyai namo namaḥ| vedavedāṅgavedāntavidyāsthānebhya eva ca ||6||

yā devī sarvabhūteṣu vidyārūpeṇa saṃsthitā| namastasyai namastasyai namastasyai namo namaḥ ||8|| sarasvatīṃ ca tāṃ naumi vāgdevīṃ varadāṃ śivām| sarvavidyāpradāṃ devīṃ sarvalokamaheśvarīm ||
