पुरुषोत्तमः

The most excellent among all persons, the Purushottama of the Gita who transcends both the perishable (kṣara) and the imperishable (akṣara) to stand as the absolute person

सभी पुरुषों में श्रेष्ठतम, गीता का पुरुषोत्तम जो नाशवान (क्षर) और अनाशवान (अक्षर) दोनों से परे निरपेक्ष पुरुष के रूप में खड़े हैं

पुरुषोत्तम वह उपाधि है जो भगवद् गीता का पन्द्रहवाँ अध्याय परम के लिए सुरक्षित रखता है। यह गीता की सबसे पूर्ण आत्म-घोषणा है।
