वज्रदेहः

The one of diamond body, whose divine form is as indestructible as a diamond and as radiant as the lightning that the thunderbolt represents

वज्र शरीर के, जिनका दिव्य रूप हीरे की तरह अविनाशी है और उस बिजली की तरह तेजस्वी है जो वज्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है

वज्रदेह दत्तात्रेय को वज्र-शरीर वाले नाम देता है। 'वज्र' का अर्थ है हीरा (सबसे कठोर पदार्थ) और वज्र (इन्द्र का अस्त्र)। वज्रयान बौद्ध धर्म में वज्र जागृति की अविनाशी प्रकृति का प्रतीक है। दत्तात्रेय वज्रदेह के रूप में इस अविनाशी जागृत प्रकृति को व्यक्तिगत रूप देते हैं।
