स्वतन्त्रा

The Self-governed; the goddess whose governance is entirely her own - not subject to any rule or principle outside herself because she is the source of all rules and principles

स्वतन्त्रा - जो स्व-शासित हैं, जिनका शासन पूरी तरह उनका अपना है, अपने बाहर किसी नियम या सिद्धान्त के अधीन नहीं क्योंकि वे सभी नियमों और सिद्धान्तों का स्रोत हैं

कश्मीर शैवमत की 'स्वतन्त्र' (स्व-शासित) की अवधारणा सीधे यहाँ व्यक्त है। परम किसी बाहरी सिद्धान्त - यहाँ तक कि कर्म, धर्म या किसी अन्य ब्रह्माण्डीय नियम - द्वारा शासित नहीं है क्योंकि यह ऐसे सभी नियमों का स्रोत है।

ॐChant when recognising the goddess's complete autonomy. Anāśritā (depends on nothing) and Svatantrā (governed by nothing outside herself) together name the goddess's absolute independence: no external support and no external governance. She is both her own foundation and her own law.
