ब्रह्मा आरती
The traditional Brahma Aarti -- “Pitu Matu Sahayak Swami Sakha” -- dedicated to Lord Brahma as father, mother, helper, and sole refuge, sung at the close of Brahma worship.
पारंपरिक ब्रह्मा आरती -- “पितु मातु सहायक स्वामी सखा” -- ब्रह्मा जी को पिता, माता, सहायक और एकमात्र आश्रय मानते हुए उनकी पूजा के समापन पर गाई जाती है।
पितु मातु सहायक स्वामी सखा। तुम ही एक नाथ हमारे हो॥
pitu mātu sahāyaka svāmī sakhā. tuma hī eka nātha hamāre ho.
आप ही पिता, माता, सहायक, स्वामी और सखा हैं; आप ही हमारे एकमात्र नाथ हैं।
You are father, mother, helper, master, and friend -- you alone are our one lord.
जिनके कछु और आधार नहीं। तिनके तुम ही रखवारे हो॥
jinake kachu aura ādhāra nahīṃ. tinake tuma hī rakhavāre ho.
जिनके पास और कोई सहारा नहीं है, आप ही उनके रक्षक हैं।
For those who have no other support, you alone are their protector.
सब भाँति सदा सुखदायक हो। दुःख निर्गुण नाशन हारे हो॥
saba bhāṃti sadā sukhadāyaka ho. duḥkha nirguṇa nāśana hāre ho.
आप सब प्रकार से सदा सुख देने वाले हैं; निर्गुण स्वरूप में आप दुःख के नाशक हैं।
In every way you are always the giver of happiness; formless one, you are the destroyer of sorrow.
प्रतिपाल करो सिगरे जग को। अतिशय करुणा उर धारे हो॥
pratipāla karo sigare jaga ko. atiśaya karuṇā ura dhāre ho.
आप समस्त जगत का पालन करते हैं और हृदय में अपार करुणा धारण करते हैं।
You nurture the entire world, holding immense compassion in your heart.
भूलि हैं हम तो तुमको। तुम तो हमरी सुधि नाहिं बिसारे हो॥
bhūli haiṃ hama to tumako. tuma to hamarī sudhi nāhiṃ bisāre ho.
हम आपको भूल गए हैं, परंतु आपने हमें कभी नहीं भुलाया।
We have forgotten you, but you have never forgotten us.
उपकारन को कछु अन्त नहीं। छिन ही छिन जो विस्तारे हो॥
upakārana ko kachu anta nahīṃ. china hī china jo vistāre ho.
आपके उपकारों का कोई अंत नहीं; वे क्षण-क्षण बढ़ते ही रहते हैं।
Your kindness has no end; it keeps expanding moment by moment.
महाराज महा महिमा तुम्हारी। मुझसे बिरले बुधवारे हो॥
mahārāja mahā mahimā tumhārī. mujhase birale budhavāre ho.
हे महाराज, आपकी महिमा असीम है; मुझसे भी बड़े बुद्धिमान इसे विरले ही जान पाते हैं।
O great king, your glory is immense; even the wisest are rare beside it.
शुभ शान्ति निकेतन प्रेमनिधि। मन मन्दिर के उजियारे हो॥
śubha śānti niketana prema-nidhi. mana mandira ke ujiyāre ho.
शुभ शांति के निकेतन और प्रेम के निधि, आप मन रूपी मंदिर के उजियारे हैं।
Auspicious abode of peace and treasure of love, you are the light within the temple of the mind.
इस जीवन के तुम जीवन हो। इन प्राणन के तुम प्यारे हो॥
isa jīvana ke tuma jīvana ho. ina prāṇana ke tuma pyāre ho.
इस जीवन के आप ही जीवन हैं; इन प्राणों के आप ही प्रिय हैं।
You are the life of this life; you are beloved to this very breath.
तुम सों प्रभु पाय प्रताप हरि। केहि के अब और सहारे हो॥
tuma soṃ prabhu pāya pratāpa hari. kehi ke aba aura sahāre ho.
हे प्रभु, आपके द्वारा ही प्रताप प्राप्त होता है; अब और किसका सहारा हो सकता है?
Through you, O Lord, glory itself is attained -- whose other support could there now be?
