A devotional aarti dedicated to the sacred Ramayan, honoring the story of Shri Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, dharma, maryada, devotion, family duty, and victory over ego and adharma.
पवित्र रामायण को समर्पित यह भक्तिपरक आरती श्रीराम, सीता, लक्ष्मण, हनुमान, धर्म, मर्यादा, भक्ति, पारिवारिक कर्तव्य और अहंकार तथा अधर्म पर विजय की कथा का वंदन करती है।
आरती कीजै श्री रामायण की। मर्यादा धर्म सुधा पावन की॥
āratī kījai śrī rāmāyaṇa kī. maryādā dharma sudhā pāvana kī.
मर्यादा और धर्म की पावन सुधा श्री रामायण की आरती कीजिए।
Perform the aarti of the sacred Ramayan, the purifying nectar of maryada and dharma.
वाल्मीकि वाणी अमृत धारा। तुलसी मानस भाव अपारा॥
vālmīki vāṇī amṛta dhārā. tulasī mānasa bhāva apārā.
वाल्मीकि की वाणी अमृतधारा है और तुलसीदास का मानस अपार भक्ति भाव से भरा है।
Valmiki’s words flow like nectar, and Tulsidas’s Manas carries boundless devotion.
बालकाण्ड से मंगल गाथा। अयोध्या में राम प्रभु नाथा॥
bālakāṇḍa se maṅgala gāthā. ayodhyā meṁ rāma prabhu nāthā.
बालकाण्ड से अयोध्या के प्रभु राम की मंगल गाथा आरंभ होती है।
From Bala Kanda begins the auspicious story of Lord Rama of Ayodhya.
सीता राम विवाह सुहावन। जनकपुर धाम प्रेम मनभावन॥
sītā rāma vivāha suhāvana. janakapura dhāma prema manabhāvana.
सीता-राम विवाह सुंदर है और जनकपुर धाम प्रेम से मन को भाता है।
The marriage of Sita and Rama is beautiful, and Janakpur shines with heart-pleasing love.
वनगमन से धर्म सिखाया। सेवा भाव लक्ष्मण ने पाया॥
vanagamana se dharma sikhāyā. sevā bhāva lakṣmaṇa ne pāyā.
वनगमन ने धर्म सिखाया और लक्ष्मण ने सेवा भाव को धारण किया।
The forest exile taught dharma, and Lakshman embodied the spirit of service.
सुंदरकाण्ड बल बुद्धि दाता। हनुमत कृपा संकट हरणा॥
sundarakāṇḍa bala buddhi dātā. hanumat kṛpā saṅkaṭa haraṇā.
सुंदरकाण्ड बल और बुद्धि देता है, तथा हनुमान कृपा संकट हरती है।
Sundarkand grants strength and wisdom, and Hanuman’s grace removes troubles.
लंका विजय धर्म उजियारा। रावण अहंकार हारा॥
laṅkā vijaya dharma ujiyārā. rāvaṇa ahaṅkāra hārā.
लंका विजय धर्म का उजियारा है, जहाँ रावण का अहंकार पराजित हुआ।
The victory in Lanka is the light of dharma, where Ravana’s ego was defeated.
जो जन आरती प्रेम से गावे। रामायण कृपा सद्गति पावे॥
jo jana āratī prema se gāve. rāmāyaṇa kṛpā sadgati pāve.
जो भक्त यह आरती प्रेम से गाता है, वह रामायण कृपा से सद्गति पाता है।
Whoever sings this aarti with love receives the good path through the grace of the Ramayan.
