She whose form is consciousness; the goddess who IS pure consciousness rather than a being within consciousness - the awareness itself taking divine form

चिद्रूपिणी - जिनका स्वरूप चेतना है, जो चेतना के भीतर एक सत्ता के बजाय शुद्ध चेतना ही हैं, जागरूकता स्वयं दैवीय रूप लेती है

देवी को शुद्ध चेतना (चित्) के साथ समान करना शाक्त परम्परा का सबसे प्रत्यक्ष दावा है: भक्तिपूर्ण पूजा और दार्शनिक अन्तर्दृष्टि एक ही पहचान पर पहुँचती है।

ॐChant when resting in pure awareness. Cidrūpiṇī names the goddess as the form that consciousness takes when it becomes self-aware - not individual consciousness but the cosmic consciousness that is the ground of all individual awareness. The practitioner's own awareness is a ray of Cidrūpiṇī.
