महानिधिः

The great treasure-store, the supreme nidhi (hidden treasure, buried precious deposit) in whom all the wealth of existence , material, spiritual, and liberating , is preserved and available

महान खजाना, वह परम निधि (छुपा खजाना, दबा हुआ बहुमूल्य भंडार) जिनमें अस्तित्व का सभी धन , भौतिक, आध्यात्मिक और मुक्तिदायक , संरक्षित और उपलब्ध है

महानिधि (महान खजाना) शिव को परम निधि के रूप में नामित करता है। भारतीय परंपरा में, कुबेर की नव निधियाँ सबसे प्रसिद्ध हैं। शिव महानिधि के रूप में सबसे महान निधि रखते हैं: आत्मन-के-रूप-में-शिव का खजाना, वह पहचान जो एक साथ सबसे दुर्लभ खोज और सबसे सार्वभौमिक रूप से उपलब्ध है, केवल संस्कार के आवरण से छुपी है।
