चित् (चेतना) और आनन्द का एकीकृत स्वरूप, सच्चिदानन्द

सच्चिदानन्द (सत्-चित्-आनन्द) वेदान्त में ब्रह्म का सबसे प्रसिद्ध वर्णन है। चिदानन्द उसी का संक्षेप है — चेतना जो आनन्दमय है। जब गहरे ध्यान में मन शान्त हो जाए और बिना किसी कारण के आनन्द की लहर आए, वह चिदानन्द का अनुभव है। ऋषिकेश में स्वामी शिवानन्द का आश्रम 'चिदानन्द' के नाम पर ही है।
