सम्पूर्ण लोकों को मंगल (शुभता) प्रदान करने वाले

सुप्रभातम् का अन्तिम श्लोक 'मंगलम् कोसलेन्द्राय महनीय गुणात्मने' — मंगल गीत है। लोकमङ्गलदायक वही भगवान हैं जो इस मंगल के स्रोत हैं। जब शादी में शहनाई बजे और मंगलगीत गाए जाएँ, जब गृहप्रवेश में कलश पूजन हो, जब मुंडन में बच्चे के सिर पर हल्दी लगे — हर मंगल कार्य लोकमङ्गलदायक का आशीर्वाद है।
