बृहदारण्यक उपनिषद् का अन्तर्यामी ब्राह्मण — भगवान पृथ्वी के भीतर, जल के भीतर, अग्नि के भीतर — सब लोकों के भीतर बसे हैं। सर्वलोकान्तरात्मा वही अन्तर्यामी हैं जो सब लोकों की आत्मा हैं। जब भूकम्प से ज़मीन हिले, उसकी आत्मा नहीं हिली। जब तूफ़ान से समुद्र उथल-पुथल हो, उसकी आत्मा शान्त।
