हिरण्यगर्भः

The golden cosmic womb from which the entire universe was born

सुनहरा ब्रह्माण्डीय गर्भ, जिससे सम्पूर्ण सृष्टि का जन्म हुआ

ऋग्वेद (10.121) का हिरण्यगर्भ सूक्त सृष्टि का सबसे प्राचीन वर्णन है: 'हिरण्यगर्भः समवर्ततागे भूतस्य जातः पतिरेक आसीत्।' Big Bang से पहले का 'सुनहरा गर्भ' (golden egg/singularity) हिरण्यगर्भ है। ISRO जब ब्रह्माण्ड की उत्पत्ति खोजता है तो अनजाने में हिरण्यगर्भ सूक्त की पुष्टि कर रहा है। ब्रह्माण्ड एक 'अण्ड' (egg) से निकला, यह भारतीय विज्ञान हज़ारों वर्ष पुराना है।
