जो ब्रह्माण्डीय चक्रों (सृष्टि-स्थिति-प्रलय) को बार-बार घुमाते हैं

समावर्त ब्रह्माण्डीय चक्रों का चालक है: सृष्टि → स्थिति → प्रलय → पुनः सृष्टि। 'समावर्तन' का अर्थ 'लौटना' भी है: गुरुकुल शिक्षा के बाद गृहस्थ जीवन में 'समावर्तन संस्कार' (convocation) होता है। समावर्त भगवान वो हैं जो ब्रह्माण्ड को बार-बार 'restart' करते हैं। जैसे कम्प्यूटर reboot होता है, वैसे ब्रह्माण्ड 'samavart' (restart) होता है। हर प्रलय के बाद नई सृष्टि = cosmic reboot।
