The Fall of Sunda and Upasunda; the Pandavas' Compact

Narada ends his tale: the two asura brothers, masters of the three worlds, are revelling on the Vindhya when Tilottama comes by gathering flowers. Each seizes one of her hands and claims her, and in their drunken rage they kill each other with maces; Brahma rewards Tilottama with a boon. Narada urges the Pandavas to keep Draupadi from dividing them, and in his presence they agree that whoever intrudes on a brother sitting with her must live twelve months in the forest as a celibate.
