The Roll of Gods, Rivers, Sages and Kings
Yudhishthira asks what is best for a man and what destroys sin. Bhishma replies by reciting, as a prayer for the three twilights, the names of gods, rivers, holy places and mountains, then of the sages of each quarter and of ancient kings, promising freedom from sin, fear and misfortune to the one who recites them. He ends with a blessing for Yudhishthira and falls silent.
