Kubera Comes to Gandhamadana
Missing Bhima, Yudhishthira and the others climb the peak and find him among the rakshasas he has slain; Yudhishthira rebukes him for his rash killings. The survivors flee to Kubera, who sets out in fury with his host, but on seeing the Pandavas he is pleased and tells Yudhishthira that the slain were doomed by Time. He explains that Bhima's deed has freed him from a curse laid on him by Agastya after his friend Manimat spat on the sage's head.
